Palms Member of the Month – July
It’s our favourite time of the month, where we get to pick a shining star. A beacon of motivation for all our members, someone who inspires us to reach our goals. As always, picking just one Member of the Month is difficult when there are so many members working extremely hard every time they step through our doors, but after much debate we’ve managed to choose our Member of the Month for July… This lady pushed herself to the limit every time she entered Palms and recently has exceeded in beating her dead lift PB! So…
Well Done Tina!
Let’s find out more about Tina – Our Member of the Month…
Tina currently takes part in two personal training sessions a week with our fitness instructor Jordan on top of her normal gym sessions and classes – her favourites being Step and Tone, Zumba Strong and Sculpt.
What Tina really loves about these classes is that all the instructors have great energy, and manage to keep everyone motivated from start to finish.
Tina is always striving for new goals and even took on goals that we set for her. She recently performed a 70kg Deadlift which is a new personal best! Tina also joined in with our 30 Day Challenge Campaign by completing 70 body weight squats in a row, for those of you who haven’t tried body squats, trust us when we say… it’s tough!
And what really impressed us is that Tina is great at managing her time effectively – She works full time and still finds time to fit in classes and gym sessions within her schedule, every week!
Here’s what Tina said when asked about her goals and inspiration;
“I always struggled with my weight and really wanted to do something about it, but with Jordan’s help during my personal training sessions I now really enjoy exercise and I’m seeing a lot of improvements. I really enjoy the training sessions when I get to lift weights.
I can’t thank Jordan enough for his time and support throughout my journey, he gives me the motivation I need to keep going.”
Thanks Tina, for being such a great inspiration to everyone out there trying to reach their goals. We look forward to seeing how you progress with you new challenges.
And to all of our fantastic members, well done and keep up the good work!
