Summer Full Body Blitz

The summer is finally here! Our Fitness Instructors have been busy in the Gym and their classes working you hard to help you reach your desired goals in time for the summer. Tessa has decided to give you an extra challenge as a last minute full body blitz. If you do need any help with the exercises at all or would like a variation of the exercise, please speak to Jordan, Erik or Tessa at Palms.

Warning: There are no designated rests in this work out, please take one as and when you need one.

Start with 40 reps of every one of the following exercises, then do 30 reps of each and work your way down the pyramid… If you are unsure of how to do any of the exercises, watch the videos below.

Squat Throw
Burpees
Push Ups
Leg Raises
Jumping Squats
Upright Row
Plank Leg Lifts

If you are doing this work out at home, there are plenty of things around the house that you can use for your Squat Throw and Upright Row. If you have nothing to hang on for your Leg Raises, this can easily be done from laying down.

For an extra challenge when you are in Palms, add a quick Cross Trainer HIIT session to the end of your full body blitz. Try 40 seconds working above 8.5mph and then recover for 20 seconds. Repeat this 12 times.
